New Blog!

Robins are back!!! I think that spring will soon be here!? :) I have loved the weather this winter, there has hardly been any snow, and it's been so nice, mostly!

I realize that this will now be the third post this month that is not really rabbit related. So, I decided to start a new blog, so that this blog will really be kept to mostly just about rabbits. :)

I am still working on my new blog, it will be about my life which is quite a busy one as the oldest of 7 younger siblings. I will be designing it in the next few days, and will start posting! :) Here is the link:

In Loving Memory of My Wonderful Horse ~ Sam

My sweet old boy passed away on Nov. 22, 2011. Sam was 24 years old. What a special horse he was! He was so beautiful, so sweet, and a wonderful friend. I loved him so much. He was the best horse in the world.

A picture of us soon after I bought him - about 2 years ago~

What a cutie, this is one of my favorite pictures of him~

My most favorite picture of Sam~

Friends~

He was so cute with little children. When a little one was up on his back, he would noticeably go slower and more careful than he would with me or another adult. Also, when a little child would walk up to try and pet him, he would lower his head so that they could. How sweet!

After breaking my left arm (right below my shoulder, clean through) in an accident while riding my pony when I was eleven, I was so scared to get on another horse. I would be so scared when up on a horse after that. I needed to get a good horse that I could trust and could build my confidence on again. Sam was just the right horse, out of 6-8 others that I looked at when searching for a horse. And he definitely was. He helped me so much. I could really trust him.

And a picture of us taken just a few months ago~

I miss you so amazingly much, Sam. There will never be another horse like you!

Quick note

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've got Mindy's babies 3 week old pictures up, but on a different site! Webs is not letting me load pictures on my website right now (grrr) so I quickly made a little weebly site and put the pictures on there. You can see them by clicking here!

P.S. All 3 does (Fiona, Amanda, and Daisy) are definitely pregnant, can't wait for more babies! :)

New babies, new color, and new cages

I haven't been a very good blogger of late! Mostly because things have been really busy here since my Mom is now over a couple of weeks overdue! I can't wait for that little baby boy to come! :)

Mindy had her babies on the 23rd, and she has 3 babies! I'm really glad because this will be my only litter sired by Buttercup!

Okay, there is a red eyed white in this litter! I've never had a completely white bunny before, so this is really neat! Buttercup's dam was a REW, so that's where it came from. I don't like red eyes, but I'm sure it will be pretty cute! :)

I bred Fiona and Amanda both to Benji on Jan. 28th! Hopefully lot's of chocolates! :) I think that I will be breeding Daisy to Blueberry instead of Tom because they had more heavily marked tri-colors the last time in their litter. I will breed her to him tomorrow, Lord willing. And Alicia to Brakes very soon as well!

I got 5 very gently used cages with trays! They are so nice! Just need 7 more!

Thank you Sara! I am loving these cages! Cleaning is so much easier and faster, and where there once was 3 cages is now all 5. And I can stack at least 6 more on top of them still! Can't wait to have all trays!

I am working on the website right now, changing a few things around! I will take all new pictures of all the buns after Mom has her baby, gets baby pictures taken and downloaded onto the computer!

Copper is on the website now, he's the little buck I kept from Tom and Daisy's litter! He is looking really nice! He's got Tom's head, crown, and ears, but a better body, which is what I wanted!

All of the Mini lops (Brakes and Alicia's) have been sold! The only bunny left for sale is Tom.
