N.T.O.P. Rabbit Show!!!

On Sunday we went to the N.T.O.P. ARBA show in Crete. I showed 5 bunnies: Blueberry, Tom, Mindy, Alicia, and Amanda. These are their placings~

Alicia - 5/8 in open
Amanda - 4/9 in open
Mindy - 2/2 in youth
Tom - NP in open
Blueberry - 3/13 in open

Very happy with Blueberry's placing! :) Amanda's placing was very good as well. Alicia placed pretty good, the judge's comments on Mindy were that she has great bone, fair head and ears, lacks some depth, and the judge said that Tom has a fabulous head, just his body lacks depth, and is too narrow.

Came home with 6 bunnies, :) I got an adorable little chocolate sable Mini lop doe at the show. She is simply beautiful, a very promising little girl. She has amazing body type, great depth, and a beautiful head. More on her soon!

It was a fun time and I learned alot! Like always! :)

Pictures!!!

Alicia snuggling with her babies:

Like mother, like son:

This little guy is ADORABLE:

I'm just waiting on two deposits and then all of Alicia's babies are on hold, just need to be picked up in June!

Moose's little baby:

This little baby is doing really good! Although it is VERY tiny, it is fat, and is looking good. It looks like it's a solid black.

Brakes has snuffles. :( I have him away from all the other bunnies and Vet RX is on it's way. I so hope it helps him! He is such a sweet boy.

Oh, also, just bred Amanda to Benji, changed my profile picture, and Daisy is a fat little girl! :)

Mindy, Alicia's Babies, and Moose's Baby

Amanda's babies are all gone, and Daisy's babies are all gone!

My lil' girl ~ Mindy, that I kept from Daisy's litter:

Isn't she so cute???

Alicia's babies are doing great! They are sooo cute! I got their 3 week old pictures up on the website yesterday. Here is the link:

Also got pictures of: Alicia, Amanda, Daisy, Moose, Misty, and Tom on there! I actually noticed when I got home from the library that there is only 1 picture of Tom, and I had put 2 on there! Will fix that as soon as I can.

Moose had 2 kits on the 15th. She had them both outside of the nest box. The one was already dead :( but the other one was still alive, just a bit chilled. She had had the first one in the far corner of the cage, away from the heat light, and then the second one was in the front of the cage. I am so glad that I put hay down all over the cage, so that it wasn't just the wire bottom, she had at least made a little hollow in the hay for the second one and pulled some fur. Anyway, I warmed it up, put it in the nest box, and covered it with the fur that she had pulled. I have been watching and as far as I can tell she isn't nursing it by herself, so I am bringing her in twice a day, sitting her on my lap, and letting the baby nurse. It is a very tiny little baby, but is doing really good so far! I hope it makes it!

Can't wait for Daisy to have her babies! She is due the 28th!

We have moved all of the bunnies up to the garage. It is so very nice! I love it! Pictures to come soon, Lord willing.

Lots of Babies!

It's so much fun having lots of baby bunnies! Seventeen all together right now! This is the most babies I've ever had at one time. :)

Alicia had seven kits yesterday (22nd). They all seem to be doing pretty good, Alicia checks on them constantly, she is so cute!

Daisy's babies will be leaving soon. And all of Amanda's will be leaving around May 6th. I'm pretty excited with how things are going so far. All of Amanda's babies on hold for people before they are 6 weeks old, and Daisy's babies are all on hold now as well!

I got a new Holland lop doe on April 9th. Her name is Hannah's Moose, and she is a chestnut agouti. She's a pretty cute lil' girl. I got her from Hannah's Hollands, thank you very much Hannah and Laurie! I will be posting some pictures of her soon.

I bred her to Tom, and will soon be breeding Daisy to Blueberry.

It's a beautiful day today! So, I'm going to go outside now!

Wow!

All of the babies out of both litters are reserved already except for the orange/black harlequin Holland lop buck! Well, since I'm keeping one, then there are 8 out of the 10 already on hold for people, before they are 8 weeks old! And I have more people on a waiting list! Amazing! :)

Also, Alicia is already gathering any hay I give her and carrying it around in her mouth, trying to make a nest in the back of her cage! She's still got about 5 more days 'til she gets her nest box even! She's pretty cute! :)

Okay, I need to go out and feed the buns now! Kind of a short post, but here pretty soon I'm going to do a big picture post at the library! :)
